MY STORYThe first time Alex saw the elaborate picture frames of Canadian-artist William Kurelek, he was possessed. The bold innovation, the country charm, the attention to detail, the craftsmanship. It was then he knew this could be a future to pursue.
Since then, Alex has been working as a professional fine art framer and handler for 8 years. From humble beginnings as a framer of family portraits (Blacks Photography), to managing a custom framing shop (Allen Gallery Framing), to currently working as the full-time preparator for Bau-Xi Gallery in Toronto and framer for White Rock Gallery in British Columbia.
